Default Discussion thread for Super Talent Project X 2x1GB DDR3 PC3-14400 Review

DDR3 dinner is served once again, this time by a little company not that well known up here in winter-land, Super Talent. they are in fact the largest and most advanced DRAM manufacturer in North America and they have some highly binned DDR3 for our perusing:

As always, this thread will be used for discussion, comments, questions, or concerns so speak now or forever hold your peace. I will also be adding any additional benchmarks, testing results, or updates in this thread so keep your eyes peeled for that...enjoy!

don't worry man, i have some other boxes that recently came in full of goodies to multiply my current points...let's just say i have been working on my 3DM 01 benching lately

its too bad my E8400s are duds though, they stink on air, i doubt they will do anything under the cold

All that matters with your E8400s is if they do good FSB. Even the worst clocking chip should clock as far as fsb wall will allow under dice. Add the 10% clock to clock performance gain over 65nm, your pile of DDR3, and u got some sweet PI times. :)

What else ya got, moving to some 3d benching huh? Ive been doing 3d lately myself, 2D doesnt cut it anymore for bot pts. I just find it tough to makebenching time right now.

yeah, thats the problem, they are neither FSB queens or overclocking kings. but they are 45nm and i should have enough FSB for 5GHz easy on dry ice, maybe phase so that is better than the E6850s and they are faster to boot. still hunting though.

as for 3D, lets just say i have a couple goodies to play with.
