Did you properly setup the timings, voltages and speed?

Woo just picked up 4 more GB's. Going to see if that was a good choice or a bad choice soon hehe.

Let me know how that works out with overclocking as I'm curious too cause if it works well I may just upgrade to some nice 1066 memory.

yes, I even tried to downclock it to PC2-4200 instead of 5300

My mobo is terrible for OCing with 4 dimms, but i can still run 4x2 GB okay (albeit at lower speeds) with a nicely clocked quad.

3.5 with that CPU is a good overclock with 8gb!

I threw that other 4GB kit in last night, and it is as stable as it was with 4GB, have had no issues yet with 8GB @ DDR2 1000! Me likes!
