Default Anyone getting reviewed speeds on Corsair Vengeance?

Hey,

I have an AMD 880G chipset for my everyday work PC, thought I would stick some Corsair Vengeance because I saw bunch of reviews claiming to get 1900-2000mhz on this value kit. Well I don't know if it just because its an AMD system that i am only getting stable speeds around 1800mhz. Just wondering if anyone else is getting higher speeds on intel systems or better AMD chipsets.

Current specs are;
GA-880GMA-UD2H
1090T @ 3937Mhz, 225mhz FSB
HT 2700Mhz, NB 2700Mhz
Vengeance 8GB 9-9-9 Kit @ 900 9-10-9, tRAS 27

I have tried dropping the HT and NB speeds but don't get any better results. Played with timings 1800mhz is just the limits on my system it seems. I even took a spare 120mm fan and pointed it at the ram to see if the reviews I read cheated with active cooling, and I did get higher speeds but no higher stable long term speeds.

Has anyone else had any better luck?
