RAM Questions

Hi Hardware Canucks. this is my first post.

just a quick question, as i am not a ram expert.

will this ram : Dominator TR3X6G1600C7D 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 7-7-7-20 (i have this right now)

work well with this : Dominator TR3X6G1600C8D 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 8-8-8-24

will this work as well : XMS3 Dominator 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 7-8-7-20
I wanted to add more memory into my computer as i need it for school. But i am not sure which can i get as the ram i have right now is discontinued.

Is theres any other Ram out there that i can use ? besides the the 2nd one ?

You should be okay with either choice really, what will end up happening is all your RAM will run at the slowest speed of the different modules if I remember correctly.

I would go with the TR3X. It seems to be the closest match. This will be important if you are overclocking.

Truth be told there, At least with you guys I got my G.Skill running nice and fast :)

either one is fine, but tr3x is a better choice
