Default 4 kit ram compatibility issues?

As the title says.

Has anyone have yet to list 4 sticks of ram which will
not work on motherboards yet?

That would be a very difficult task given the numbers of different mobos and memory. If you really want 4gg of mem and are worried about using all four slots then I would recomend getting a 4gg dual channel kit 2X2gg sticks. Also to help your chances of compatability go with the specific mobo recomended memory. Just my 2 cents.

My System Specs

Default

I have found that 680i motherboards generally has problems running 4 sticks of memory.

My example: I have 4 sticks of PC2-8500 on an EVGA 680i

The motherboard will NOT boot on 4 sticks @ 1066

Instead it will only work when the 4 sticks are @ 800.

So I had to settle with running 4GB @ 800

Going with 2x2GB rather than 4x1GB is more recommended since it puts a less of a strain on the memory controller.
