Ram help

I would recommend firing off an email to G Skill. I did that for my Mushkins. 1866 mhz native, want to try 2000

Settings he gave me are missing. Guess I'll have to fire off another email. Damn!!! I simply asked support for info for ocing mine, as I've never oced ram b4.

I'd go to the G.Skill forums and make a post there, they can help you fine tune your settings.

I also have G.Skill DDR3-2000 ram (tridents) and I couldn't get them to run at their rated speed without setting QPI really high (1.4V) so I just backed down to 1600 and tightened the timings and it wasn't worth it to me. I think you'll only notice the difference in benchmarks between 2000 and 1600.

Well, I did fire some emails off to G.Skill, their Customer service is excellent.

I Think I got it running right (I opted for 1600 vs 2000).

Let me know what you think.

Looks good. Have you tried running 9-9-9-27-88? See if you can get it to run at those clocks.

I'll take a look and see if I can make it happen.

I was able to get my sticks to over 1800 using these timings. Of course i was doing suicide runs but I was able to boot into windows at almost 4.6. I don't know if you checked the link I left earlier in the thread or not. I was also using 1T instaed of 2T. I currently have them running 2:10, 9-9-9-27-88 at 1.65v. These sticks seem to be very finicky when it comes to voltage.

You might also try 9-9-9-28-47 1T at 1.65v and see what happens. I'd like for you to be able to get those sticks running at at least 1800.

G.Skill suggest 2T Timings so I'm assuming its probably lower binned kit to be honest. Unlike the great success I've had on AM3 systems and their Tridents.
I'll give it a shot and see, Voltage is at the max allowable for the RAM but within spec.
Once I have my other systems issues Ironed out I'll make another pass, I did see your Post and link I just didn't have time to comment on it at the time.
