Default Gskill DDr3 ram.

i came by this product today.

NCIX.com - Buy G.SKILL F3-10600CL9D-2GBNQ PC3-10600 2GB 2X1GB DDR3-1333 CL9-9-9-24 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit - F3-10600CL9D-2GBNQ In Canada.

and it interested me. It seems cheap for ddr3 ram and great If someone were to build a somewhat future proof gaming system. I know a couple of people wanting to grab a new pc, and i was wondering if i should mention this product to them.

if anyone actually has this ram, how does it preform compared to ddr2 ram? and/or opinions on it.

any information would be awesome. Thanks in advance.

My System Specs

I really wouldn't call that a future proof ram- the speed isn't fast enough to offset those loose timings- you'd get more speed out of a 100 dollar set of crucial ballistix ddr2 8500

Not quite a good time to jump into DDR3 yet unless you've got lots of spare cash. It's still about 600 bucks for a set of fast ddr3
