My System Specs

Default good memory?

Corsair XMS3 Dominator 4GB

is this good memory to go with the 4xamd 965 black edition and asus crosshair mobo?

go with gskills low voltage or the 2000-2200 pi series
corsair stuff is overpriced and overated
maximus IV extreme @ 5.1 1.41v

Crucial is also decent. Not as cheap as GSkill though.
A-data is a cheap brand the has delivered quality to me so far.
Corsair has always been too expensive for me. Its good ram but worth the cost? hmm

I am also using A-data, works fine for me. As i want corsair there are lots of alternative that is not that expensive.

I agree with the others, they're too expensive. There are a ton of other good memory manufacturers. Any of the suggested are good. For my .02, I like Mushkin. A bit pricier than some of the others, but rep. and help are 2nd to none. Whichever way you go, from a review I read the Dominators aren't all that great. Nothing to distinguish them from the others to justify the cost.
