Need Help picking up RAM

Hi Folks,

Ok here goes,

I'm planning on buying this MB M4A89GTD + AMD Phenom II X2 550.
I want to buy 8 gig of ram for this build. Thing is, I am a bit confused with the DDR3 these days. Many kits are labelled i3 or i5. Does this mean that I cannot run them on AMD built ? I would check with ASUS web site for QVL but I cannot access the page due to a high volume of demands...

Also, I guess that If I want to have some leeway with my OC, I should get DDR3-1600 instead of DDR3-1300 right ?
Anyways, if you can recommand a good memory kit for this build, I'll be glad to take into account. I don't want to pay like 500$ for RAM, I think I should be able to find something decent for like around 250-300$. I know it's harder to OC with 8 gig of ram but I'll be OC'ing conservatively also hopping that I can unlock the 2 other cores.

well you would want a dual channel kit. probably 2gb sticks as the 4gb ones are more expensive.
1600 mhz,yup.


wich one? go by your budget.
