Which G.Skill Ripjaws should I get? There is a price difference of $2 between the G.SKILL F3-10666CL7D-4GBRH Ripjaws and the G.SKILL F3-12800CL9D-4GBRL Ripjaws. At the same time, there are also the non-Ripjaws version selling for the same price, but it seems like I should go for the Ripjaws version. So which one should I stick with? |
Do you intend to overclock? Small overclock, medium overclock, overclock till the chip's heat output starts nuclear fusion? |
Use it with an i5 750 to achieve at least 4ghz. |

I got the same ones for my i5 @ 4GHz |
Thx for the comments guys. Any reason why you picked one over the other? |
The GBRH's have tighter timings for DDR3 memory at 7-7-7-21. That's why I went with those, but if someone can offer up more info it would be great. I am no pro when it comes to the intricacies of ram and the differences between them outside of speed and latency. |

Pretty much all of it is BBSE chip based so when you want the best clockers it is usually best to find the highest binned speed with the lowest timings. Im generalizing here but those give the best OC headroom. |
