Default Cheap Triple Channel for DX58SO/i7 950

It's amazing how everytime I decide to buy stuff is when other expenses come in and ruin my budget. lol. I've been looking around for triple channel RAM and saw that the prices are wildly different.

Some are as low as $70 for 3x1 kit and some are as high as $200 for 3x1 kit.

I'm interested to know if these $70 kits offer decent performance and if its any good with an i7 950 (not really looking to overclock right now). These aren't the value ones without a heatsinks (for some reason those cost more than these), here are a couple of examples: (They are all sold out right now, so I guess everyone is buying them)

Since no one has replied, I'll give my experience with OCZ Gold PC 12800 XTC 1600. It is 3x2GB, rated at 8,8,8,24 which is higher than you listed. I bought it last June for $99.00 on discount from NCIX, and also a rebate of $20 (price has gone back up now). So, it is cheap for 3x2 GB. It works well as shown in my sig, but I have not overclocked it.

Thanks for replying.

It seems all the cheap ones aren't being sold anymore and out of stock. Right now the cheapest 3x1 kit is $115 :/ so I might as well go for 3x2 that sells for $160. argh, whenever I need to buy RAM it goes up. lol. I was thinking of going dual channel first then buying the 3rd one later on, but then realized they don't sell single 2GB sticks that match a 2x2 kit :/
