Default OCZ DDR2 Question

I come to notice that the OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 Dual Channel (OCZ2P800R22GK) specs wise appears to be the same as the OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 ATI CrossFire Dual Channel (OCZ2A8002GK).

OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 Platinum Revision 2 Dual Channel
- 800MHz DDR2
- CL 4-4-4-15
- Unbuffered
- Platinum Mirrored XTC Heatspreader*
- Lifetime Warranty
- 1.9 - 2.1 Volts
- 240 Pin DIMM

OCZ DDR2 PC2-6400 ATI CrossFire Dual Channel
- 800MHz DDR2
- CL 4-4-4-15
- Unbuffered
- ATI XTC Heatspreader*
- Lifetime Warranty
- 1.9 - 2.1 Volts
- 240 Pin DIMM

Is there any reason why these would not work in the Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L? I was leaning more towards the OCZ ATI mem since it is on for $85.88 after MIR at NCIX compared to the Plats for $92.68 after MIR at NCIX.

Most likely the same thing just marketed differently. I for one am not too crazy at all this "Crossfire Ready" and "SLI Ready" memory classification. It offers little to nothing other than a badge.

I'm almost positive it was OCZ memory that wouldn't post on a board which defaulted to 1.8V, and looking at the specs (1.9 - 2.1) I'd be a bit leery about them since they specify 1.9V.

Do you know of any good PC-6400 DDR2 that is not expensive that can run at 1.8v?
