ripjaws max is 2100 8-8-8-24-6-72
on amd you will max out around 1800-1900mhz no matter what ram you use

im running 2 x 4gb ripjaw 1600mhz with a 790x chipset adn a phenom 955. Runs perfect 7-7-7-21 , but a little on the warm side though.
