Default Recommend me some 2x2GB (4GB) kits for my P5B Deluxe

I have a q9550 coming in the mail, and I would like to upgrade to a 2x2GB kit. My optimistic goal is to hit 8.5*425. I was going to go with the g.skill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK kit, but the P5B Deluxe is unsupported. Can anyone please recommend me some good RAM that overclocks well to go along with my overclocking Q9550?

That RAM should work fine. Doesn't matter if it's listed or not, I never go by that anyhow.

And as per your other thread, I highly doubt you'll get near 400FSB. Quad-cores are far harder on motherboards when overclocking, and your P965 chipset doesn't exactly have full support of 45nm quads.

Oh that's rather odd then. Never seen that before.

Mushkin Redlines are great if you can find a set of those.

Those g-skills should work.. interesting.. Mushkin will be second choice.. and OCZ to follow.. if OCZ is compatible, the reapers Pc8500, check those in the manual, I had a person PMed me yesterday, i'll ask him to contact you, RAM for cheap..

Do some google searching to see if you can find anyone using g-skill with asus board..

I talked to a g.skill rep and they said their F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK kit will work on a p5b deluxe. Yet on their manual:

www.gskill.us/166.pdf

G.SKILL does NOT recommend to run F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK on following moth- erboards. Asus P965 Commando, Asus P965 P5B-Deluxe.
