Default Corsair Ram: Help ?

My rig is almost done just the last few things now.

What ram should i go with ? its going in a evga x58
What is diffrent from 1333 & 1600 (Will be for gaming)
Another question is can you overclock ram...

1600mhz is faster and will likely not hold you from overclocking at all. 1333 might hold you back from reaching higher overclocks. Yes you can OC ram, but you'll only get so far. I'd go with the 1600, leaves you more room to play with.

Go with the XMS 3 12800, not that expensive for pretty good ram. Dominator is overpriced just because of bigger heat spreader. Not really needed if case have a good airflow.

Ask for more.
