My System Specs

Default What RAM?

I'm thinking of purchasing some RAM. I want a 4GB kit for under $50AR, but that's not possible anymore now that DDR2 prices are going up, so the cheaper the better. Over at Canada Computers, I found the following kits:

Canada Computers - Memory > Desktop Memory > DDR2 800 PC2-6400+ : Patriot NVIDIA Viper Series DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB (2x2GB) SLI Optimized Low Latency DIMM Kit (PVS24G6400LLKN).

Canada Computers - Memory > Desktop Memory > DDR2 800 PC2-6400+ : Patriot Viper Series DDR2 PC2-6400 800MHz 4GB (2x2GB) CL 4-4-4-12 Low Latency DIMM Kit (PVS24G6400LLK).

Canada Computers - Memory > Desktop Memory > DDR2 800 PC2-6400+ : OCZ (OCZ2RPR800C44GK) Reaper DDR2 PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL 4-4-4-15 4GB (2X2GB) Memory Kit.

They all involve rebates, and all are similar to each other. Which one should I get? I heard something bout how Patriot, you have to pay for RMA or something?

Depending on your needs there really is no need to buy such high performance memory. Your better off buying a used set from someone and save a whack of money.

I just checked a few sites and its retarded the costs of a 2x2gb kit now for DDR2.

I would get this:
NCIX.com - Buy Corsair XMS2 TWIN2X4096-6400C5C 4GB DDR2 2X2GB PC2-6400 DDR2-800 CL 5-5-5-18 240PIN Memory Kit - TWIN2X4096-6400C5C In Canada.

Before any of that.

Ya I got a used set from Cowboy. It's Mushkin Redline, but one of the sticks are defective. He's willing to take it back. So my options were either take it back or RMA.

The thing with that set is that the timings are looser, and there's probably no cheap shipping option. For the price of shipping the RAM, I figured I may as well buy it local.
