I just found a new stable overclock but it involves keeping my ram at 2.1 volts. Somebody said to just touch the ram under load to see if it is too hot. Then somebody else replied if I do that, the static electricity from my body could do damage to the Ram. Can someone tell me, If my ram is stable under load, it can run two applications of Orthos with out any errors, can the extra volts cause damage to the ram?? I am very worried that it will just heat up when playing games or other intensive applications and then fry itself? Does that sound likely to happen? I plan to only use this high overclock when playing games only. Is there no other way to check ram temps? And is running two applications of Orthos at once how you test your ram for stability? When running orthos, Both cores are at 100%, does that sound right? Thanx people, I know these are Noob questions but I can't seem to get a straight answer.
