ddr2 ram question

Howdy,

I've got 2x corsair dominator 1024mb sticks of ram running at ddr2-800 and cas4 latency and 2x corsair xms2 1024 sticks running at the same specs.

My question is will they impact my OC if used together? should I use one over the other? sell one? both?

What should I pick up instead?

Currently running specs in sig. Any help appreciated.

It can.

Timings can be extremely finicky and since dominator is more meant for overclocking and xms2 for basic systems I'd say try it but becareful.

Even running 4x1 can make overclocking a pain.

K thanks. Should I try to sell them and pick up just 2 sticks of other ram for a total of 4 gigs?

Or sell all 4 sticks and pickup a nice 2x2g kit, as fire stated 4x1g is most likely going to be a PITA when overclocking.
