My System Specs

Default GSkill PI Black vs. Kingston HyperX

Newegg.ca - Kingston HyperX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
Newegg.ca - G.SKILL PI Black 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 800 (PC2 6400) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory

There's the link to the 2. The slower clocked G.Skill has a lower clock speed but a higher RAS, so how do these 2 function differently? Ultimately which would perform better?

I would purchase the HyperX because it gives you more overclocking headroom. The PI series G.Skill RAM does overclock well, but there is no guarantee that it will be able to get to the clocks of the HyperX RAM.

I guess that makes sense, the GSkill is at latency 4 already.
