Default OCZ 6GB PC3-12800 Platinum DDR3 Triple Channel Memory Kit Review

Hey everyone, we have just posted a review of the surprisingly affordable OCZ OCZ3P1600LV6GK, a low latency 6GB PC3-12800 7-7-7 triple-channel memory kit with a low 1.65V default voltage.

If you have any comments and questions, you can post them here here, and I will do my best to answer them

My System Specs

DAM good value for sure! I was going to get a set when I was in the market for them but the price kept bouncing up and down and when it was time to hit checkout they were like 100 bucks more than when I was considering them :(

Default Similar kit ?

I have seen that OCZ sold this kit too:
OCZ Platinum Edition Triple Channel 6 Go (kit 3x 2 Go) DDR3-SDRAM PC3-16000 - OCZ3P2000LV6GK
The timings are not very good but the tests on X58 platform prove that itís not so important for the Core i7.
The recent test of the other kit (about 50Ä less expansive) can afford the same timing and nearly the same frequency.
But at 1.65v, not 1.75 (or 1.90 on my actual DDR3 1330 OCZ kit overclocked at 1600- 150MH bus speed, coef. 23 on a P6T deluxe and a core I7 940 at 3.4 Gh) !
And perhaps can the system can run at 2200 with this kit ?
So, my question is: do his potential overcloking and much over, using the kit at 1.65V is a good idea, especially against the kit you test (same performance but at higher voltage which can be a bad idea for long term)
Thanks a lot for your advice!
