Default Just bought new RAM, need help

Hey guys,

I just bought 2x2GB sticks of OCZ Reaper PC8500 ram from NCIX. Link below:

NCIX.com - Buy OCZ Reaper Hpc Edition PC2-8500 DDR2 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 Dual Channel EPP Memory Kit - OCZ2RPR10664GK In Canada.

Now I'm just wondering if you guys think this was a good choice. It was a pretty hasty decision and I probably could have gotten something better. Also, if anyone has had these sticks some comments on there performance would be nice

Oh yeah, I plan on running these on a EVGA 750i MOBO when it gets here (recently replaced my horrid MSI P6N Diamond 680i)

P.S. - Could not get the hyperlink to work! lol

Depends what you are using it with and what where you are going with it.

1000mhz ram is pretty though I admit not always "enthusiast" level ram

If you are way underclocking it theres not a real point to that for most users 'cause your're going to have to play with it

If you are an enthusiast then you enjoy that.

If you will be banging it at 950 1000 up, then okay maybe-+ depends on board and cpu AND OC

My System Specs

Since you're going to put them on an Nvidia chipset board you really don't need to concern yourself too much with memory clockspeeds.
