Default Ordered some Mushkin not sure what it is!

I ordered some Mushkin model #996619 which is supposed to be, Mushkin Ascent XP2-8500 4GB(2X2GB) and here is what I'm reading on my invoice:Mushkin Ascent PC2-8500 4GB 2X2GB DDR2-1066 CL5-5-5-15 240PIN Dual Channel Memory Kit. Does this mean the same thing or what is the difference between PC2 and XP2 something tells me there is a great deal of difference but they used the same model or part #996619 they even use series XP in the spec's which I would guess means XP2, anyway if someone with knowledge of this ram could set me straight I'd appreciate it. I'f your wondering about the Mushkin ram in my sig' I just wrote it in a couple of days early.

My System Specs

PC2 is just a general indicator of the bandwidth for DDR2 ram.

DDR ram had PC-XXXX bandwidth
DDR3 ram has PC3-XXXXX bandwidth.

XP2 on the other hand is Mushkin's XP DDR2 series.
