Default Higher Mhz?

i jumped my FSB to 1333 to get my q6600 to 3.0ghz and have been running it "UNLINKED" up until now, i just "LINKED" it and my memory jumped to 999mhz. so my question is, what can/will happen if i run my OCZ platinum XTC PC2-6400 DDR2-800 2x2GB at 999mhz? i have had the voltage at 2.1 since buying it, and have taken out 4GB so i'm only possibly ruining 1 set, lol.
my system is in my sig.

Thanks. :)

My System Specs

Default

If it's running stable it'll be fine. Higher Mhz doesn't kill ram, high Volts & heat does.
