A-Data RAM I'm curious about these guys as I haven't heard much about them. They've got some nice inexpensive (relatively speaking) triple channel DDR3 kits out. Probably the cheapest 1600MHz 3x2 kit I've seen yet is this one: NCIX.com - Buy A-DATA AD31600G002GU3K 6GB DDR3 3X2GB DDR3-1600 CL 9-9-9-24 Triple Channel Memory Kit - AD31600G002GU3K In Canada. Anyone have any experience with these guys? I'm more inclined to go with Mushkin or Corsair, but we're getting close to a $200 price difference here. |
So much stuff out there is spit out of the same factory and rebadged by different vendors I'd be surprised if this is not identical to a few of the expensive brands. |
$200 for a heat spreader. I've used adata memory and have no problems with it, nothing enthusiast. |
They are trying to make a splash in Canada and North America in general. That is why you will see reviews of some of their products here on HWC in the coming months. |
Hmm...so maybe worth a shot then? Food for thought. |
Well Im not even close to a RAM expert but when I buy a new part I check out online rivews. So my sugestion would be to check out some online rivews before you desided on it. Persionaly tho I would stick to a known brand for the time being |
A-Data has made some kick-arse RAM, more popular in Europe/Asia. Many records on XS have been set using A-Data. I wouldn't hesitate to grab some, if the price(and warranty) was right. Edit: Here's their website.. if you're interested in the RAM, browse around their site first. |
Thanks 1Tanker...I'll definitely look through there. |
I bought A-data before. off of a hangar rack in Best Buy. |
