I think HWC should review that thing, it is better than the giga version on paper anyway.

Can't you create a ramdisk on Windows? Something like tmpfs on Linux at the very least? That seems like a much better (and cheaper) way to go ... unless of course you intend to put your OS on the disk.

Yep. MCN Live has a switch to load onto a ramdisk, but that still requires you to go through the slow process during boot of getting it there from CD.

The idea behind iRam is that it's fast non-volitile memory to store your OS on for lightening fast boot times.
