Is there much of a differance between running 400 and 500 1:1 or 4:5 is this better than running @400 with 4-4-4-12 Im still learning about computers. I wouldn't go by the ramlist site, just off the top of my head, I have seen errors on it with mushkin ram for well over a year now. If your ram kit, still had d9gkx it would of prob cost >$100. Also, only double sided 2x1GB kits will be based on d9gkx. Last edited by MushkinGreg; September 28, 2008 at 11:15 AM. |

Dr.Memmory the following. 1) I would try the Tras at a few different settings, 15-18. 15 first. 2) Also, bump the Northbridge voltage up by .1V to compensate for tighter timings. It isn't just the RAM that works harder when the memory bus timings are faster. The memory controller and RAM work as one unit. Bumping the NB voltage can open up the timing window after timings are tightened. 3) Next, I'd try starting with 5-5-5, and change one timing at a time. It may be just one of the timings that is affecting stability. Does anybody know what my NB volts shoud be at currently its on auto. Asus P5K-E |
