Default CPU of the Gods: 2500K

I have my cpu here. Thinking about going to Haswell. This 2500k is a dream. It overclocks like nothing without the need for extra voltage. You can even hold back a few! Offset -0.06v at 4.2ghz! Temps less than 70'C at full prime95 load on a Coolit Eco II (H60 oem). 4.5ghz is easy to get although I never kept it there longer than a few moments due to my cooler not being sufficient for 4.5ghz load temps. Under a custom water loop or heavy duty cooler I believe this cpu could probably do 4.8 stable.

Never had any hiccups with this cpu. My system has been rock solid at 4.2ghz for ages now.

What do you guys think this superclocking 2500k is worth?

4.2ghz on a 2500k is really nothing. I had my 2500k with a Coolit TEC setup running at 4.7 without breaking a sweat.

Don't get me wrong I can pull that off as well. I just won't with the cooler I have. Its not a heavy weight cooler and I am using uber quiet fans so I can't move air as quick as that would require.
I've booted with it at 5ghz before but I won't even risk testing that on such a rinky dink cooler.

Also, thanks GBA. That price sounds about right.
