Maximus V Formula and 3570K

Price check for my 2 items: ASUS MVF and i5 3570K. I am thinking $400. Is that good or?

$200 each sounds fair. I know the same mobo went for that this past week.

Ok good. I was thinking more like $220 for mobo and 180 for CPU hence $400. I will take them out next week and sell them. Haswell or SB-E here I come. I really want the ASUS Maximus VI Formula board! I can use my own fittings that I already have without buying anything from EKWB!:thumb:

You and me both. But the difference would be minimal I'm afraid.

You mean to say that you are moving away from IB to Haswell or IB-E? Maybe it's best we wait until the IB-E CPUs come out and make our moves. What do you think?

I'd like to, but I'm not sure. I know Haswell would be a sidegrade.

Maybe ib-e.

Yeah I am thinking the same. So I will keep this system up and get rid of the board and cpu when IB-E comes out. I just saw a brand new board from EVGA for IB-E, it looks sleek: EVGA | Articles | EVGA X79 Dark Motherboard

Now I am wondering how the Rampage V Formula and Extreme are going to look like!
