Default QX6700 Build and Older Xeon's

Hi guys,

I am thinking of finally upgrading my trusty Core 2 Quad system to a newer Sandy Bridge E setup. I am just trying to get a feel for what a reasonable asking price for my current system would be. Specs are as follows.

Intel Bad Axe 2 motherboardIntel QX6700 processor
Thermaltake Armor case
1 x 640 GB Western Digital Black
1 x 1 TB Western Digital Black
8 GB Corsair XMS DDR2 800
MSI TwinFrozr GTX 470
Crucial Adrenaline SSD Cache drive
Soundblaster X-Fi

Am I out to lunch thinking $600 would be a reasonable starting asking price?

Secondly, I have a pair of older low voltage engineering sample Xeon processors from my previous build. Specs are as follows:

2 x 2.4Ghz Low Voltage Diamond Engineering Sample Xeons

Rare QYP5 stepping unlocked engineering samples.
Socket 604
Includes both CoolerMaster E3W-NPTXS-04 Heatsinks and original Intel Windtunnel coolers.

Would these be of any use to anyone? If so, would $100 be reasonable for the works?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

My System Specs

I sold this:

X3350 (equivalent to Q9450)
Maximus Formula X38
4x2GB Kingston Hyper-X DDR3-1066
120GB Vertex 2 SSD
650W Antec EarthWatts
Coolermaster all-aluminum case

...for $300. Granted it was to a friend, who is in the midst of getting married and thus has no money to spend.

So I think $600 is reasonable, but the issue is always finding a buyer for such an "old" system relatively speaking.

My System Specs

I think you could get that parting it out, but as a package you will have a hard time finding a buyer for that old of tech. If you want it all gone at once you will likely have to drop down.
