Seeing as I may move to an android based HTPC I'm going to see if my newish HTPC is still worth quite a bit of it's weight. Boots to windows rather fast thanks to the SSD with just Win 7 and xbmc installed (wouldn't include Win 7). It has also been tested and runs on that xbmc unbuntu too. Also has no issues running 1080p content.
MSI E350IA-E45 Mini ITX
MINI-BOX M350 Universal MINI-ITX
PICOPSU-160-XT 160W / 200 W with 102W DC to AC adapter
4 GB of DDR3 RAM
25GB SSD (can't remember brand, A something or other)
I was thinking/hoping all together it's worth about 250-300$ but I may be wishing a little high.
Getting a XIOS as well? Might be doing the same thing myself. Oddly enough my current HTPC is very similar to yours. Only puchased it in may just for a solid XBMC box. Awesome gear. I'm interested to see what our setups are worth as well.
May hold out to see what the Xios XS has in store, or I could be happy with my N7 (whenever it decides to ship) plugged in via usb micro to HDMI cable.
I didn't think the N7 had the ability to do HDMI out, even with an adapter? That seems to be the buzz.
According to iFixt, this works http://guide-images.ifixit.net/igi/6...6nW3wbhL.large
