Default 7950 - did I do alright?

I traded a EVGA 560 Ti SC and $200 for a 7950 I think I'm happy but just curious if thats not a bad deal or not...

Thanks in advance. Should mention the one I got is the Sapphire Dual Fan Factory OC'ed to 900MHZ

Well your old card GTX 560 goes for $219 new, the Sapphire new is 499.
so you Traded your card for 100 and gave him 200 so $300 for a 7950
That's how I look at it.
Some people will think its a bad deal and others will think its good.
real question tho is are you happy with it.

Hmm I would say yes as well. The card is $500 + tax at NCIX but it comes with 3 games. Yes, the 7950 OC scored higher than a regular 560ti, but I wouldn't trade it card + $200. May be $130 to $150.

Alright thankfully I spoke to the guy and got it for 560Ti SC - Canada Computers | Video Cards | EVGA GeForce GTX 560 Ti Superclocked 1024MB GDDR5 (01G-P3-1563-AR) nVidia GeForce GTX 560 Chipset (900MHz) 1GB DDR5(4212MHz) Dual Display DVI-I/Mini-HDMI PCI Express 2.0 Graphics Card (thats my old card)

+ $200 cash

He gave me

Sapphire 7950 OC (900MHz)
I think its this one although not sure why its deactivated? Hope it wasnt an issue of some sort?
Newegg.ca - SAPPHIRE Radeon HD 7950 OC 3GB 384-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card ( 11196-02-40G)

+ He gave me Razor Lycosa & Razer Imperator (both in great shape as well)

Now hopefully that makes the deal a little better also should I keep this (I seem to like it so far) or should I try to sell or trade to get a 670 or something?

Seems like a good deal to me. The 7950 should wipe the floor with a 560Ti, so should be worth the $200 that you traded the card with.

Sounds like a good deal to me, and whats with the guy that won't pay more than $175 for a HD7950... The 7950 is WAY more GPU than the 560 will/can ever be. If the second deal is through the same person try to low-ball, offer $100 +570 you might get lucky!

do it, may not be a super deal, but the 570's/560ti 448's have just been terrible sellers on the used market, $165-$190 tops for those, and thats IF you can find a seller, so yeah do it, before you loose even more value on that 570
