i have an older black LT25 gateway netbook lying around the specs are

10.1" LED 1024x600
Intel atom N450
1gb ram
250gb HD
802.11 b/g/n
6 cell battery

I was thinking $140+shipping is a very fair price right?

Not even close. $100 if you are lucky. I sold a LT31 on RFD with a L310 X2 AMD, 320GB HD and 2GB of ram and was badgered down to $125. No market for these netbooks anymore unfortunately.

dam that doesnt seem promising, i took a quick peek at cl and saw a ton of the n455 models in the $160-$250 range so i thought $120-$140 should be doable, hmmm i might as well keep it as a backup for whenever i take down my rig to upgrade it.

If you want to make it more relevant I have a Crystal HD BCM70015 I can sell you cheap and if you install it in the netbook in place of the WLAN card it will do 1080p video no sweat.
