My System Specs

Default Sold!

My stuff normally sells pretty damn quick which leads me to believe that I value it a little low so I'm going to see what you folks think even though I've got a price in my head. (BTW... before folks start throwing PM's my way... this is all hypothetical based on me pulling the trigger on a GTX 680.... :) ).

Two bundles, but I'd prefer to sell/ship them all to one buyer.

2 X MSI Twin Frozr OC 560 ti cards recently returned from MSI RMA (bundled together for some SLI goodness)

ASUS Crosshair IV 890FX, AMD 1090t, 2X 4G (either kingston or Gskill doesn't really matter to me) DDR3 1600

Would really prefer to find a good home for this kit to a single buyer. Pretty well ready to pop into your own case, but be warned that 750W is (IMO) kinda pushing the limits of SLI + OC'd proc.

Original boxes for all, and pretty well everything but a full set of sata cables for the mobo (I'll include at least 2 black, and a couple of reds or yellows.... :) ).

Anywise... what do you think for the two cards shipped, and the mobo/cpu/mem shipped?

I'd say $160 each for the 560Ti's, and around $250-$275 for the CPU/mobo/RAM (new 1090T,970 mobo is $300)

Yeah that's a pretty accurate price above, but I think you're going to have a tough time selling the SLI as a package. Either way I'd say what... $600 shipped?

Well, I wasnt' really planning on selling this right now, but the bulk of the bundles are gone (one 560 ti left which I'll keep at least until my 680 GTX gets here).

Wasn't really supposed to be an actual for sale thread, but thanks for looking anywise. :)

I think I may have said this before, but this thread is a perfect example to point out why folks should be extra careful when it comes to buying something through these price check threads.

My stuff sold without a picture, and without me setting a price, both of which would be violations of a proper buy/sell thread. In this case, a member chose to accept that my rep here was good enough for him, and that's his choice to make, but those rules are put in place for a reason, and too often it looks like folks are using the price check feature just to circuumvent the buy/sell rules.

I don't want to scare folks away, but please, make sure you're protecting yourself when making purchases on these boards.

`nuff said. :)

I know what you mean SS. I had two people inquire about my H100, and a fellow long time member chose to buy it with no pic. However we did negotiate a price and I will be sending him a pic tonight regardless if he wants one or not! haha

I suggest that anyone willing to buy an item from someone in the price check section should protect themselves by requesting a pic before transferring any funds regardless of the sellers rep etc.... because you never know.

i think price checks should be band for this reason cause they turn into sales threads before we know it ask what you want for the item if it's too high then you can always drop your price pretty simple
