What is the stock clock on the Direct CU bios version? |
Yep I am preparing for a 2560x1440 upgrade sometime soon. But I figure it's better to upgrade the monitor before the video card (unless I do them both at the same time).
With regards to the bios that I used, it's actually a modded Asus Direct CU bios.
"I started with the original ASUS BIOS from the new card, and altered the following:
Minimum fan speed increased to 20% (default was 10%). It is still almost silent at 20%.
Frequencies increased to match MSI GTX 580 Lightning defaults. GPU: 832 MHz, Shaders: 1664 MHz, Memory: 2100 MHz (4200 effective).
Maximum voltage unlocked up to 1200mv (1.2v)." <---- if you don't touch the voltage it's 1.1163 I believe.
YMMV but I could never really find a happy balance of voltage and overclocking past 950/2100 @ 1.163 anyway, so unlocking the voltage didn't do much for me :P
