Wife was going to take this system after my Intel build was done but now she built a nice Mini itx gamer and no longer wants it. so Please price check if its not worth lots I will keep it for now.

8gb ddr3 2000 can go $50 as they are $65 new now.

6970 CU II you can try to get $350 w/ block, but the WCing might hinder potential sales as the market is alot smaller.

2x120GB OCZ SSD Sata 6 should hold their value pretty well. Price depends on series.

Dvd drives are $10 used and don't really add value to the system.

1tb black can still go for up to $100

850w thermaltake ~ $75

Chaser case ~ $100



Parting it out would sell alot faster and might net some gains on water cooling parts. As a fully custom cooled loop/mega rig you could probably ask $1800 for it locally to start with and negotiate down to $1500 lowest.

CPU I would agree on the price
RAM depending on the specific model $65-80
GPU base price is around $350 so that seems kind of low to me, now if you have the stock cooler as well as the block, you might be able to up it a bit. I say fairly $375 as long as you can include both coolers or ~$300 card with the coolers you deciding on
120GB OCZ SATA 6 brand new from what I can see are the Vertex 3 which are $150 or so brand new, so ~$180 for both would be fair to both sides
give away the dvd drive if they but the whole system :P
Caviar black 1tb can be sata 2 or sata 6Gb/s either way, brand new they seem to be ~$130+ so $90 or a touch less would be mostly fair
PSU- depending on model brand new ~$120-$150 so around $95 would be decently fair
CASE-new around $140 so ~$120
Liquid cooling, is not my forte, so therefore I cannot price it out that well :P

This obviously is not taking into account the liquid cooling side just the raw parts. There is always a loss, unless someone really wants the system :O

So $1450+ would be resonable, $1800 sounds like ALOT to be honest, but then again you never know :)

Parting out can easily net ~1500 especially since I don't know what radiators and cpu block was used and if he's got 12 compression fittings at $5 a pop in there it begins adding up.

As for 180 for two 120gb SSDs, that would sell in under 3 minutes as even used SSDs catch more than $1/gb especially a current gen sata 6gb/s. Possibly 140 each as saving tax and rebate hassle counts for alot.

6970 is on par with a 7870 and they are not much over 2 bills new
