My System Specs

Default Price Check on Parts and System

I have a Megahalems Rev. B with 2 sets of 120x25mm fan clips, mounting hardware for 1155/1156 socket only, and installation instructions. In addition, the Megahalems will come with a 120mm San Ace PWM fan (9G1212P4G03) and a 4g tube of Arctic Cooling MX-2.

I have 4GB (2x2GB) Crucial DDR3 1333MHz RAM.

The specs for the system are:
  • CPU: AMD Phenom II X4 955 BE (C3 stepping)
  • Cooling: Coolit Eco C240
  • Motherboard: ASUS Sabertooth 990FX
  • RAM: 4GB (2x2GB) Kingston HyperX Genesis DDR3-2133MHz CL9 (KHX2133C9AD3X2K2/4GX)
  • Power Supply: Seasonic M12D 850W
  • Hard Drive: WD Blue 640GB (WD6400AAKS-00H2B)
  • Optical Drive: LG DVD Burner
  • Case: Cooler Master CM 690 II Advanced
  • Video Card: XFX Radeon HD 6950 1GB
I have modified the case and optical drive so the LEDs are white. I replaced the case fans (front intake, mid-case, and rear exhaust) with 1450rpm GentleTyphoons. The two fans for the radiator are 3000rpm GentleTyphoons which are modified for PWM control.

The system will come with all of the original case, cooler and motherboard accessories, and documentation.

Thank you.

Chip brand new is $110 or so.
eco 240 I think was $150?
990FX board is $200
Ram now can be had for $45-60 the faster as u have linked maybe $100
Power supply I believe for that one was $165?
HDD $75
optical $22
case $110
6950 1gb brand new around $230
extra parts and work $120?

to be fair becuase it is not brand new, I would say $800-$1k. Yes I know the prices for brand new can be pricey, but, it is not brand new anymore :P

So list out what you paid for said parts, and depending I would knock 10-20% off each then total it.
Brandnew parts listed would be around $1500 or so? so a bit under 1k is still fair and you are not losing much.

Didn't have too much time to look into it, but I would put the system around the $750 mark. Used computer parts usually go for 70%ish of their current online prices.
Desktop: Arc Midi R2, Z77-D3H, 3570K 1.09v/4.1ghz with Zalman Optima Cooler, Corsair Vengeance 2x4gb@1866mhz, XFX R9 280X DD, Bitfenix Fury 750w, WD Black 1TB, Intel 530 120GB
Away from home light Gamer: Acer Aspire 15.6", A8-3500m undervolt and OC to 2Ghz, 2x4gb Corsair Vengeance, Crucial M500 240gb
