My System Specs

Default Phenom II 940BE

What would be a fair asking price for a PII 940BE?

I'm the original owner and had it doing 3.7GHz @ 1.475V 100% stable since I bought it new.

I have the original box and stock heatsink also.

EDIT: What are the BST rules for posting pictures of a CPU that's in use? IF I decide to sell my CPU I plan to use it until it's sold.

Thanks.

Thats a good clock, couldn't get mine past 3.6 at 1.55v :(
I would say $50-60 would be a good price.

I tried for 3.8 with 1.5V core and 1.3V NB but the 4th core crapped out running Prime95. I would have pushed it further but to me, more voltage and the extra heat isn't worth 100MHz.

What's your NB voltage? Playing with that might gain you some ground and allow you to run a lower Vcore. Currently my NB and HTT is at 2.4GHz with 1.25V.

I think a picture of the insides of the machine showing the cpu cooler on the mobo and a cpu-z screenshot of the chip's setting is acceptable...

Yeah A CPU-Z screen shot with handwritten name and current date would suffice, along with a pic of it in use inside the case.

AFAIK I can't adjust the NB freq or voltage.
