My System Specs

Default Dell XPS M1530

Hey guys,
I'm looking at selling my old laptop. It's a Dell XPS M1530. Here are the specs:
Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.4GHz (T8300)
2x2GB DDR2 RAM
Nvidia 8600GT (256MB of dedicated video memory)
320GB 5400RPM Hard drive
15.4" Screen (1280x800)
Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows 7 Ultimate
How much could I get for it?

Thats what I got now, I paid 400 bucks used for it like 5 months ago? The only difference is I got 500 gig hard drive.

So I would think anywhere from 300 to 400?

I'd say between $250-300...depending on battery wear since its around 4 years old now?

It'll be a tough sell though because you can get new laptops for roughly $500 with better specifications. You have things like this: Toshiba Satellite 15.6" AMD E350 Laptop which likely has comparable day-to-day performance as yours, perhaps not as good for gaming though. And first generation i3 latops go for roughly $500-700, depending on what it comes with.

Which is why I never bothered to sell my XPS m1330 in August either. It's depreciated too much to make it seem worthwhile selling it, unless you're in desperate need of cash of course.

Yup, same goes for the XPS m1330 with the 8400GS. NVIDIA just really messed up back then...

But since it's survived 3-4 years now, I'm guessing it'll continue to run fine but who knows for certain.
