I would be buying two of these used and would like to know what they are roughly worth?

considering you can buy a new 6870 for that price..which is a 5870

maybe 140-150 each

That would be because its eBay, where people don't know the current value of PC parts and want to swindle you for as much money as they can get from you

actually isn't the 6870 more like the 5850? This was my understanding.

I picked up two of 5870's about 3 months ago for 280 for both. They were Asus reference cards and ran great. I use cards for benching and then sold them for 280 and they were sold within minutes!

true the 5870 can be slightly more powerful than the 6870. usually <10% and some games = and others the 6870 wins
however the 6870 has higher Minimum frame rates consistently of around 10%, which is actually far more important than having a higher maximum

and a 6870 won't melt your computer ;)

the 6000 series scale better in crossfire than the 5000 series does
