but you might as well keep it as a backup card.

If that's all it worth and you don't need the cash ... might as well keep it. Would make a good backup in case a newer card died on you. I loved mine. It played a lot of titles on full it shouldn't have been able to. Over clocked decently as well.

Thanks for reply and suggestions.

I am guessing most people sell them desperately (like the one sells for $40) because they have upgraded to a better card. I am really selling it to try to downgrade because I don't play much game anymore. I have posted at $60 locally still no luck. I already have a passive 5450 in my PC now, I am just trying to downgrade this to another passive ATI card, so I'll have a cool, quiet, and low power PC to support 3 monitors. I guess I won't get any money back to downgrade. Might as well keep it.

The card itself is pretty quiet, the only downside for me is that it is a bit large and blocks my front fan installation in my Antec Sonata III case. And also it may stress my PSU a bit more than a low end card. I guess I'll keep it instead of trying to sell them dirt cheap.

Wow they have dropped in price. I sold mine last year for $140, but it was a rock solid card.a little loud yes, but it had tons of raw power at the time.

yeah Im selling mine for 100 together or 110 each.

I need the money for a 6950... i just know ill have this problem down the road though. You can play source with a 5450 with a config I can give you if you want.

I dont wanna buy a 300 dollar 2gb 6950 only to sell it for 50 bucks like in 3 years. LAWL

That's depreciation really... just when you are selling computer hardware, don't expect to get most of your money back.

You really want to see depreciation Pain, look at 3 years down the road what he GX2's are worth. And what people paid brand new for them.

Hardware will always depreciate like this. It is just something you need to accept.

And that is why I have a collection amassing at home. I cannot swallow my losses from selling, so I'd rather just keep it and pretend like it's not there ;)

LOL,

Well we should talk then. I am a great place for computer parts without a home.
