What do you guys think of the gold/black color design for the new ROG boards? Looks pretty bad to me personally but red/black is getting old too..

Intel's Blue/Black will always have a place in my heart.

Ummm, the new ROG boards are still red/black. It is all of the other boards from Asus that have the gold/black coloring.

So do we have any ideas on pricing for these boards? And the chips going in them?

Oh my bad, I know there'll be red/black for the ROG boards too but I thought they'd be releasing a gold version as well for them since it was posted on the Asus ROG site.

Here's the article link: ASUS Z87 Motherboard Design Story - Republic of Gamers

It seems pretty much all the boards not rog or tuf will feature the goldy look AnandTech | Haswell Z87 Motherboard Preview: 50+ Motherboards from ASUS, Gigabyte, ASRock, MSI, ECS, Biostar and EVGA

Thanks for the link! I'm liking MSI's gaming board. The dragon design looks pretty cool and, makes Asus' "Republic of Gamers" branding seem silly

I've done black/green black/red to death. I want to see some straight up black/white action.

It should be the exact same price as the 3770k and 2600k were at release.

Would be nice if Asrock would ditch the brown PCBs already. The Extreme9/AC would be one of the nicest looking boards I've seen in years if it wasn't brown.
