I'm looking at the Gigabyte and the Asrock OC Formula. Not a huge fan of yellow, but I briefly had the Z77 version, and it was a nice overclocking board.

Now I can literally water-cool my computer. You guys with your fancy pumps and tubing got nothing against my bucket.

But yeah, if it's only the motherboard that's coated, you still have to worry about all the other components, especially the video card. Who knows, maybe everything will have that coating in the future.

A very innovate idea, but I don't think it will be any value added for 90% of customers. That said those that like to play with liquid cooling may appreciate this in the worst case scenario they get a leak.

Where it will be particularly useful, if it works, is in sub-zero cooling, to prevent shorting-out from condensation

Dunno about that, I'm sure you could have it done to a GPU.. PSU on the other-hand...

Interesting on the coating, though they cannot allow even the slightest bit of water into the PCI-e Slots or RAM for that matter as it would short out instantly.

For myself? I want to see Intels last iteration of a Motherboard :)
That will make me happy.

AnandTech Z87 preview: 50+ motherboards

Some interesting offerings as more vendors try to distinguish themselves with more and more features moving on chip.
