Cisco sell Linksys to Belkin |
Ugh, that is sad news...but not all that unexpected. Linksys would not even answer SIMPLE questions on their hardware for a review on their router. Needless to say the review was shelved. :/ Honestly, the whole 'cloud' push was what turned me off Linksys this gen....next gen I am going Asus. |

Linksys has gone down the crapper in recent years anyway, not that this will improve it, but now I'm happy I've moved on to D-Link. |

Linksys WAS good before they were bought out by Cisco. Cisco realize that they no longer make money on Linksys.. Buh Bye. |
I never had much luck with anything Linksys. So it looks to me that it's going to a company that is right about the same quality of product. Crap |
I had good experience with Linksys over the years but when I bought a Belkin router so much frustration I returned that thing to the store and quickly move back to a newer Linksys router which at that time was already bought by Cisco. This news just worries me cause I always had bad experience with Belkin stuff. It seems my current router will be the last Linksys I will ever own. |
Linksys has been off my list now for a few years. I have been having good luck with Netgear stuff. |
