i hope they support mid ranged processors as well seeing as how if they only make high end processors that are interchangable i would be sad :(

Well something must have sparked this rumor. I have a feeling they will not drop the sockets for now but sure things can change and they CAN change their minds......eventually.

Yeah something did...its call page ho'ing. Some sites are so desperate for page clicks they will do and say nearly anything. IMNSHO, the original article was one step above National Enquirer level. Would you say to John Trovolta "well something must have sparked the rumor you were a shaved big foot"? That is the level journalistic integrity that drove this frenzy. Its sad that Intel even had to dignify it with a response. :/
