Any word on how the drivers actually perform? Last time AMD said their drivers drastically increased performance, it increased in benchmarks and decreased in game lol

Hmmm, it is REALLY tempting to pick up another 7950.

AMD can announe all they like. Let's see how it actually filters into retailer's pricing.

I really wish they'd change the meaning of this from "Mail In Rebate" to "Manufacturer's Instant Rebate". It's obviously an effective marketing tool or they wouldn't continue doing it after years of complaints about them, but I know I usually don't even bother sending them in, so it the pre-MIR price isn't decent they're not getting my money.

It's a $20 MIR, so it's actually priced at $319. Still, not bad for a 7950, even if it is close to reference...

Their PCS+ (custom cooler/slight OC) is on for $349...

Pretty sure I payed close to $450 for my PCS+ when I picked it up soon after the release date. So, one can't say that they haven't dropped their prices.

Hey, I picked up both my 7970's for $600 + tax at launch, so prices have definitely come down since then.

I'm hoping this puts pressure on the gtx670's :) A price war would be nice right about now. Graphics card pricing has gotten out of hand.

AIB vendors selling an HD 7770 for under 100 would make sense, but by now AMD would need to drop their prices a lot more for me to even consider buying an AMD HD 7000 card.

Personally, I never base purchasing decision on MIRs. People think they are saving, but when you actually factor in your own time to go through the hassle of MIR (when it actually does go through), you end up loosing money.
