Windows 8 to Launch in October
 

Citing unnamed sources within the company, Bloomberg is reporting that Microsoft is planning on debuting Windows 8 in October.

It will be very interesting to see how consumers take to windows 8. I don't think it has a chance on desktop, and will have a hard time competing against the likes iOS and android on the tablet platforms.

My Theory:

Windows 95: Good
Windows 98: Crap
Windows 98 SE: Good
Windows ME: Crap
Windows XP: Good
Windows Vista: Crap
Windows 7: Good
*Windows 8: Crap
*Windows 9: Good
etc...

Even though, I see great potential for Windows 8 this time. Maybe not for computers but having a Windows 8 tablet could be very useful at work (Being IT, I see a lot of useful applications).
