I still dont understand why they prevent you from using a straight sli bridge with these cards.
IIRC AMD cards use a different communication topology for crossfire compaired to Nvidia's SLI ring which uses that solid bridge. So with only using flexible crossfire bridges you should be able to fit the bridges through the weird gap thingy.
