Well the fact that they say the A5 is twice as fast as the tegra 3 I think is they key to that slide. I would argue that the tegra 3 is 2x as fast as the a5, even faster when you throw graphics into the equation.

Edit: I don't think Apple should come after Nvidia now, I think they will have problems if they piss nvidia off.

I would find it hard that a quad core gpu would beat a 12 core gpu unless the quad was clocked significantly higher.

That benchmark is so sketchy.

Tergra 3 is not 12 Core? Its 12 Nvidia Cores just like GTX580 has 512 CUDA Cores. You can go and say my GTX 580 with 512 Cores is same as HD 6990 which has 2 physical Cores.

A 6990 has 3072 cores and 2 physical GPU's

The tegra 3 has 12 nvidia cores but the A5 runs it's graphics off of the cpu cores.

Tegra 3 is a quad core processor with a built in 12 core GPU. The A5X is a dual core CPU with a quad core GPU. You would be correct in saying the GTX 580 has 512 cores. GPU cores are very different to CPU cores.

What i am trying to say is that you cant refer to Geforce LP in Tegra 3 as a 12 Core GPU. The difference with that and GPU in A5X is that that one actually has 4 Cores. If you look at it like that each SGX543 has 4 Cores inside so 16 Total. Tegra 3 is probably better because of the Quad core which helps it out more in Games that use 4-Core.

Apple knows very well, what they are doing even as they are blatanly full of spectacular BS...let's watch, and see them pull a rabbit out off where the sun don' shine.

I've been wondering about these claims myself. If it holds true, which is unlikely, Apple would have quite a few similarly spec'd Android tablets on price point also.
