And this marks the day in which there will be a great surge in work completion! People around the world...actually getting work done!

Or people just find an alternative to Reddit for a day

I'm still against it, but this is a good point.

Only thing that would bother me is gmail, but not that much. There are other search engines. I don't even use Facebook or twitter. I have a ton of problems with time management already... reddit and forums are bad enough.

I think google, Twitter, Facebook and the like should all stop thinking like greedy 1%ers and actually think of the people who use their service. SOPA will hurt all of them but as long as they can squeeze a few more dollars out of the economy they'll not even consider a few hours of downtime. It's just gross. BUT just think of this. The Government that is creating SOPA was voted for BY THE PEOPLE so good job to those who voted for them.

ya, that's a major point that I'm thinking will prevent them from doing this.

Honestly, it might take something like the passing of this bill for the people to see how insanely governments are acting in regards to digital media and intellectual property. Censorship has never succeeded long-term in human history, and modern governments will have to adapt or die. With the way they're going, it looks more like they're going to die.

There is not one single person in Congress (or government in general) who have anyones best interest in mind except their own. The media companys are lining their pockets so really nothing else matters. Welcome to "Democrazy"
