Digitimes is reporting that troubled memory maker Elpida may merge some business operations with Toshiba at the behest of the Japanese government.

Thx ST, It's sad that Elpida waited until someone order them to do it before to do anything. They could have sell some part of the company to other brand like Samsung or IBM that would have been nice for us all I think.
